This dataset contains an update to the spatial extent of selected catchments and a complete (national) update to the attribute terminology and format. Although plans are under consideration to combine the Artificial Wetlands (dams) into this dataset, currently the National Wetland Map 6 should be used and viewed in conjunction with the NBA2018 Artificial Wetlands dataset.National Wetland Map 6 does not include updated condition assessments. This will be undertaken during 2024 and will be published in National Wetland Map 7 for uptake into the National Biodiversity Assessment 2025.National Wetland Map 6 includes estuaries extracted from the NBA2018 Estuarine Ecosystems dataset.
